Eligibility Criteria
To be considered, applicants must:
- Hold an offer for a full-time, one-year taught Master’s program at the University of Oxford
- Be a citizen of an African country and ordinarily resident there
- Not have previously completed a graduate degree
- Demonstrate strong leadership, service, and community engagement
- Show alignment with AfOx values
- Demonstrate commitment to addressing Africa’s major challenges such as pandemics, climate change, and youth employment

How to Apply
Applicants must first apply for graduate study at the University of Oxford(which is United Kingdom) through the Graduate Admissions Portal by the relevant December/January funding deadline for their chosen course.
Eligible offer holders will then be contacted by Student Fees and Funding and invited to complete a separate scholarship application form.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a virtual interview as part of the AfOx Graduate Scholarship selection process.
